Live performances of the alternative rock band REM that were broadcast on TV from 1983 to 2008. Their appearances on programmes such as 'MTV Unplugged', 'VH1 Storytellers' and the 'MTV Video Music Awards' are featured as well as their performances at various music festivals and shows including the band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007


Płyta pierwsza to obydwa występy zespołu w cyklu "MTV Unplugged" (1991 i 2001), z niepublikowanymi wcześniej kawałkami, wydanymi w 2014 roku na płycie audio "Unplugged: The Complete 1991 And 2001 Sessions". Zebrano na nim również materiały ze stacji VH1, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon.
DVD numer dwa otwiera udział R.E.M. w programie "VH1 Storytellers", poszerzony o nieemitowane wcześniej wykonania paru piosenek, jak "New Test Leper" i "(Don't Go Back To) Rockville". Mamy tu również występy w rozmaitych programach MTV oraz wprowadzenie w 2007 roku do Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Starszych fanów z pewnością ucieszą występy z 1983 roku, z programu Livewire ("So. Central Rain", "Carnival Of Sorts (Box Cars)" oraz rok późniejszy z audycji The Cutting Edge ("Driver 8" plus cover Brownsville Station "Smokin' In The Boys Room").
Kolejne trzy płyty to zbiór rzadkich nagrań koncertowych z lat 1995-2008, zarejestrowanych w różnych miejscach na świecie. Łącznie 99 piosenek. Szczególną uwagę warto zwrócić na koncerty z Kolonii z 2001 roku i z Grecji z 2008 roku. Ponad tuzin piosenek rtu zawartych nie było pokazanych podczas oryginalnych transmisji. Nigdy wcześniej występy te nie były dostępne w całości!
Ostatnie DVD to nakręcony przez MTV film dokumentalny "R.E.M. By MTV". Sporo na nim materiałów wykopanych z archiwów, jak i fragmentów współczesnych. Obraz w reżyserii Alexandra Younga będzie pokazywany w listopadzie również na VH1 Classic oraz w stacji Palladia
