The Godfather of Punk, Iggy Pop, will release a new album called ‘Free’ on the 6th of September. ‘Free’ is the successor to the highest charting album of Iggy’s career, ‘Post Pop Depression’ which was released in 2016. ‘Free’ has virtually nothing in common sonically with its predecessor—or with any other Iggy Pop album. With regards to the new album Iggy Said the following: “This album just kind of happened to me, and I let it happen”.
