Living up to the series name, the duo's performance is exactly that — pure. With only Jerry's vocal and guitar and Kahn's bass, the two deliver an unadulterated and intimate performance within the walls of the 2,000-seat auditorium. The two-set performance features a quintessential setlist including storied Garcia/Hunter compositions such as "Friend of the Devil," "Run for the Roses," "Ripple," "Bird Song" and "Dire Wolf" plus other favorites like "Deep Elem Blues," "Jack-a-Roe," and Bob Dylan's "When I Paint My Masterpiece." Originally released in 2009 as a single CD, the 2LP live set is pressed on gold vinyl in a limited edition and features intricate new artwork created by Gabe Schneider (Sight Study).
