Peter Cristopherson (COIL) - Time Machine II [2LP] (Colored Vinyl)

Format: 2LP

Label: Infinite Fog [8016670173960]

RELEASE DATE: November 6, 2026

Description:

- One of Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson's most elusive late works

- Seven soundworks originally issued as a sold-out deluxe memory stick

- First-ever release on vinyl and CD

- Christopherson's personal take on "Musick that cures you of Time"

- Mastered by GRAMMY-nominated engineer Jessica Thompson, following her outstanding work on previous Coil reissues for Infinite Fog

When Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson passed away in 2010, he left behind several projects in different stages of completion. Apart from what was later released as X-TG's "Desertshore" and the previous Infinite Fog re-release of "Amulet" by The Threshold HouseBoys Choir, a further seven tracks were compiled by people close to Sleazy in 2014 as "Time Machines II" and issued as a limited deluxe memory stick, in keeping with Sleazy's ideas of ways to make music available in different and potentially more exciting, almost fetishistic formats (and not as the long-rumoured five-CD set, which, arguably, these tracks might have been the foundation for). That edition sold out almost immediately; it has since become a collector's item, and a reissue has long been overdue. Infinite Fog are delighted to be able to present these seven outstanding soundworks on vinyl and CD for the first time, to a new audience who may never even have heard (about) these pieces before.
