After moving to France, jazz vocalist Kaori Kondo based herself in Paris, where she has performed and recorded numerous live shows. This album is a full-fledged jazz vocal work recorded at Studio 7ème Ciel in Paris, with talented musicians active in France.

Hiroshi Murayama, who has been based in Paris for many years, plays piano. With Saba Medan on bass and Philippe Soara on drums, the album contains 14 tracks, mainly standard numbers.

Rather than competing for flashiness, this album carefully captures the breath, stillness, and lingering resonance of each note that arises between the singing and playing. The natural swing cultivated in the Parisian jazz scene and Kaori Kondo's warm and refined voice invite listeners into a deep and quiet world of "blue."
