Quicksilver Messenger Service, Quicksilver's fifth album for Capitol Records, first released in 1970. Dino Valenti, John Cipollina, David Freiberg, Gary Elmore, Gary Duncan and Nicky Hopkins were the members playing on the album. What About Me made the US Top 30 Albums chart with the single 'Fresh Air' making the US Top 50, and 'What About Me' being a huge "turntable hit" The band called it a day in 1975, but since then there have been numerous revivals with ever-changing lineups.
