Snowy White learned to play the blues simply because he "wanted to know what it felt like to hit those wonderful notes," without thinking about joining a band, making recordings, or performing live - and certainly not about becoming famous in the slightest. He is one of the most authentic musicians, playing purely out of a love for music. Snowy White has always had an uncomplicated approach to music and life that touches many people. His kindness and humility led him to form many lasting friendships with others who embraced music in the same way and simply shared the joy of making music together. He was a touring guitarist for Pink Floyd (Animals and The Wall), recorded two magnificent albums with Thin Lizzy (Chinatown and Renegade), and subsequently landed his first unforgettable solo hit with "Bird of Paradise." In addition to long-term engagements as a touring guitarist for Roger Waters, he also played on albums by Peter Green, Jim Capaldi, Phil Lynott (solo), and Linda Lewis, among others. Yet throughout all the different phases of his career, he has always played and sounded unmistakably like "Snowy and his Les Paul Goldtop."
