'STILL ON FIRE', released in 1998 and long difficult to obtain, is an album that began production when the three original members—Kyoji Yamamoto (G/Vo), Mitsuhiro Saito (G/Vo), and Toshihiro Niimi (Ds)—reunited in 1998 and spontaneously decided to "try recording a demo tape." Initially intended as a sampler for various parties, its exceptional quality led to its release as a prelude to a full-fledged reunion, making it a must-have for fans. The highlight is the breathtaking medley lasting 9 minutes and 36 seconds. Representative songs from their 1st album 'Hoero! BOWWOW' to their 3rd album 'CHARGE' are revived with a powerful ensemble thanks to their increasingly mature musicianship. This album fills the missing link between the individual paths taken by each member after the breakup of VOW WOW and their eventual return to the name "BOWWOW." For those who missed out on buying it back then, as well as listeners who are encountering their achievements for the first time due to their recent resurgence, this album can be considered an indispensable masterpiece for understanding the history of Japanese rock.
