Featuring a sweet and mellow lovers rock rendition of Barbara Lewis’s classic “Hello Stranger,” alongside “Black Pride,” a song celebrating Black pride. Both tracks were originally released on Lovers Rock Records in 1977 and have become signature songs by Brown Sugar. The release also showcases the fresh, soulful vocals of Caron Wheeler, who is also known for her work with Soul II Soul. These two lovers rock classics, long regarded as essential recordings from the genre’s formative years, are now finally available together on 7-inch vinyl!
