New project entitled Cry of the Heart- Connie's 54th album - A one hour special along with companion programming hosted by the Grand Ole Opry. Our choice of Saturday nights in 2021. We need to collaborate on guests and content flow of the show (Circle Network) - The Library of Congress will announce in March that Connie's first RCA single ''Once a Day'' has been entered into the National Recording Registry - one of 25 inductees and the only country song. Some of her fellow inductees- Thomas Edison, Louis Armstrong, Odetta, Franklin Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Leontyne Price, Jackson Brown, Janet Jackson, and Kermit the Frog - A ceremony hosted by the city of Nashville to celebrate the unveiling of a Connie Smith star on the Music City Walk of Fame (date TBD) - The release of the third 5-disc boxed set of Connie's Columbia recordings (summer 2021) - And, the Rolls Royce of Country Music Singers, Country Music Hall of Famer signs with Fat Possum Records. Her quote six months ago: ''Cool, I didn't know George Jones had a label.''
