Dynamite Cuts have selected two of his stand-out, early jazz gems which are just phenomenal. First up is one of my favorite original jazz tracks written by Mr. Grusin ''Kaleidoscope'' and what a stunning jazz track it is. I can't help but smile and jazz step around, whenever I hear it. For me, it's one of the greatest all-grooving, classic Jazz-dance, mover - up-tempo, with all the trimmings, great jazzy instrumental solos, and that sound - oooff! On the B side - The jazz classic by Coltrane ''Straight, No Chaser'', this version is, for me, a cut above. This line up of musicians sets the sound, and the attention to playing simply oozes class.
