Formed by members who have been active in Swinging Popsicle, NORTHERN BRIGHT, airbus and Honeydew, Grenfell's first single ''KEEP IT GOIN''' is a new kind of vintage soul pop music. The coupling track is ''NORTH MARINE DRIVE'', a cover of Ben Watt by Manuel Bienvenu, selected by Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA), who has worked on the popular ''Free Soul'' compilation series. The members have been influenced by indie pop, indie rock, acid jazz, R&B, northern soul, neo-soul, and other backgrounds, and sublimate them into alternative music. The new vintage soul-pop music is the result of the band's obsessive efforts to create music with a groove and originality that feels like their ''now''! Their first single ''KEEP IT GOIN''' is scheduled to be released from Miobell Records on Record Store Day in July 2021. He travels back and forth between France and Japan to pursue his music career. He is a multi-player who plays all kinds of instruments, and is also involved in engineering and producing. While sticking to acoustic instruments, he creates a mysterious world of sound with various ideas. His cover of Ben Watt's ''NORTH MARINE DRIVE'' was first released on the album ''amanuma'' in 2013. This time, it was released as a 7'' single.The song has been remastered using the latest digital and analog technology for the 7'' single. As a solo artist, he has released five albums so far, the latest being ''GLO'' released in 2020.
