From the progressive rock-inflected ''Mahamudra no Shi'' and ''Meditation,'' to the acid-folk hidden gems ''Kawa'' and ''Beautiful Song''-the latter of which was featured on Nippon Acid Folk 1970-1980 (Time Capsule)-this album stands as a singular masterpiece of Japanese psychedelic folk.
