Taped at Amsterdam's Concertgebouw on December 8, 1957, this concert took place just three days after Miles Davis recorded the iconic soundtrack for Louis Malle's film noir Ascenseur pour l 'échafaud, and features the exact same band, with Miles on trumpet, Barney Wilen on tenor sax, René Urtreger on piano, Pierre Michelot on bass, and Kenny Clarke on drum.
