Following the departure of long-time bassist Joel Reader, the band continued to evolve with producer Kevin Army, maintaining their indie rock essence. This remastered edition, expertly revived by Justin Perkins of Mystery Room Mastering and featuring refreshed artwork by Chris Appelgren, brings back the classic tracks that, as noted by All Music's MacKenzie Wilson, "echo the vibes of Pavement's Stephen Malkmus and Sebadoh's Lou Barlow.
