Mikey Dread was a Jamaican singer who played an important role in the popularization of the reggae during the 1970s. He began recording in the early ‘70s and worked together with a lot of different artists from the Reggae scene. The 4th 10 inch in this exclusive Music On Vinyl series features tracks by Mikey Dread (Side A) and Edi Fitzroy (Side B), all produced by Mikey Dread himself.
This 10 inch features a unique version of “Original General”, which features a horn selection, and the previously unreleased track “Queen Of Harlesden”. Original General / Queen Of Harlesden is exclusively available for Record Store Day 2023 as a limited edition on red, green and gold coloured vinyl. 500 individually numbered copies are available of each colour and are shipped out at random.
