Side A features a cover of EVE’s 1987 smash hit “Koi wa Passion”—a song Hoshikuzu Scat adores—reimagined with even more 80s-style flair than the original, in collaboration with world-renowned arranger Initial Talk.

The international Eurodisco sound and harmonies, delivered entirely in English, are sure to make a huge splash on the dance floors of 2026.

Side B features a cover of “Watashi Rashiku” from Hiromi Iwasaki’s hidden gem album “Me Too” (1988). This version of “Watashi Rashiku” comes from Triangle Productions—the team behind Carlos Toshiki & Omega Tribe and RA MU, who established the sound of the late-80s city pop heyday.

The track features a meticulous yet bold arrangement by T-Groove, one of Japan’s most celebrated young creators, alongside the dazzling vocal harmonies of the three members of Hoshikuzu Scat.
