From the "Newtro" project, which revives classic Japanese songs in a modern way, comes "Mayonaka no Door ~Stay With Me × AGO feat. Sagiri Sól," a new reinterpretation of "Mayonaka no Door ~Stay With Me," now available on 7-inch vinyl.

The original was released in 1979 as Miki Matsubara's debut song, and in recent years has gained global recognition thanks to a cover by Rainych Ran. It has become a symbolic representation of the resurgence of city pop, spreading from Asia to Europe and America.

For this release, producer AGO is in charge of the arrangement. AGO's signature cutting-edge track is elevated into a contemporary groove, and the vocals feature singer-songwriter Sagiri Sól, who has a multicultural background. While retaining the mellow charm of the original, it has been reconstructed with a more refined production. Furthermore, the B-side includes an exclusive remix by up-and-coming producer TIDY. With an approach that boldly rewrites the lingering impression of the original, it presents a new interpretation that is perfect for the dance floor.
