The 10-track LP is a delectable collection of songs that glide from funk to R&B to rock, all united under the umbrella of a deftly arranged poptastic veneer, and lead singer CJ Johnson's powerhouse vocals.

Eight years ago, Oh He Dead first came to life in Washington, D.C. when Johnson and singer/songwriter Andy Valenti formed a folk duo. The now six-piece band includes lead guitarist Alex ''Solo Sals'' Salser, drummer Adam ''Adrums'' Ashforth, and keyboardist Piano Whitman. Since their emergence onto the DMV caught the attention of . Just this year, they performed at SXSW, Peach Fest, Summer Camp, and Wolf Trap's Out & About Festival with Brandi Carlile. Oh He Dead is ready to take the music world by storm once again.

Produced by Paul Rogers and Jimmy Mansfield and recorded in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at Red Giraffe Studios, Pretty pays homage to classic bands Earth, Wind, and Fire and Parliament Funkadelic, with a nod to the pop production of Still Woozy and Remi Wolf.
