Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, at age 20, Alma moved to the United States to pursue music studies on a scholarship to Berklee College of Music. From there, she continued to thrive in the East Coast jazz scene and in New York, where she resides and collaborates frequently with her husband, celebrated guitarist Rale Micic.
