First & Last Records is proud to present the first-ever reissue of Daisuke Honda’s Love Songs, a deeply personal, holy-grail private press album originally released in 1977. Musically, Love Songs is a soulful, melancholy blend of folk, rock, and blues. Honda’s songwriting echoes a wide array of influences, from American icons like Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and the Allman Brothers, to UK folk groups like Heron and domestic Japanese folk masters like Masato Tomobe and Kenji Endo.
