It features works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Herbert Stothart, Alan Menken, Miklós Rózsa and John Barry among others. It also features some of William's own Academy Award-winning scores, including "Star Wars," "Jaws" and "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial." On this album, Williams collaborated with American jazz-funk and soul-jazz saxophonist and Grammy Award winner Grover Washington Jr. The Hollywood Sound is available as a limited edition of 800 copies on gold colored vinyl and includes an insert with liner notes by Sneak Preview 's Michael Medved.
