Springhouse, Fifteen years after releasing two exceptional postpunk-meets-shoegaze-meets-dream pop albums on Caroline Records, New York-based outfit Springhouse (Mitch Friedland, Larry Heinemann, Jack Rabid) reconvened to record a third album, From Now to OK, co-released on CD with Independent Project Records in 2008. Now appearing for the very first time on vinyl, the record captures the three piece exploring a more acoustic, folk rock-indebted sound: still showing their trademark flair for dreamy melodic textures, the ever Anglophile Springhouse can also be heard.
