Description:

This single-only hit is a groundbreaking work that redefines the image of Osaka-based composer and performer 7FO. This important piece, closely related to the album "The Stone I Picked Up Broken," is being released this time on transparent fluorescent yellow vinyl! "Healing Sword," which 7FO approached with the feeling of "becoming a mysterious DIY musician," is an homage to the 7-inch pop era and Joe Meek, and is the first song in 7FO's history to be created with the concept of a "single." However, it wasn't going to be a straightforward Joe Meek imitation, and that enthusiasm dissipated like steam from a hot spring, condensing into a post-bath RGM sound. Jackson Bailey (Tapes/Rezette) heard this song and exclaimed, "Surf synth acid dancehall rock!!"

The coupling track, "Snake (Live)," is a lo-fi mono tune recorded in one take, showcasing the true essence of the composer-performer, and is actually an important behind-the-scenes track that served as the starting point for the creation of "The Stone I Found Broke." Furthermore, there's a great story that Henry Rollins playing this song on the radio inspired the creation of "White Snake," the final track on "The Stone I Found Broke." The custom hot spring mark in the artwork was created by artist/performer Keisuke Yamao, and the book design was produced in Yamao's studio.
