HUMBERT HUMBERT’s project album series "FOLK" features self-covers of their signature and popular songs, along with covers spanning generations and genres—from classic Japanese folk to 1990s J-pop—recorded with no supporting musicians, performed solely as a duo. From this well-loved series, which has released four titles to date, two works—"FOLK" and "FOLK 2"—are now being issued on vinyl as limited first press editions.

The first installment, "FOLK", was originally released in 2016 to commemorate the duo’s 15th anniversary. It includes re-recordings of signature songs such as "Onaji Hanashi" and "Kokugo", a self-cover of "Chiisana Bokensha", the ending theme from the popular anime "Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!", which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026, as well as a total of 12 tracks including covers like "Seikatsu no Gara" (Wataru Takada) and "Sayonara Jinrui" (Tama/Yoichiro Yanagihara), spanning generations and genres. "FOLK 2", released in 2018, includes 12 tracks such as the then-new popular song "Eien no Yuhi", original songs like the piano-arranged "Tora" that connects to their current style, and cover songs including "Chiisana Koi no Uta" (MONGOL800) and "Hikoukigumo" (Yumi Arai).

Both albums have been newly mastered in mono for this vinyl release.
