''The Crying Xpress'' is an express train of emotions. An expression of vulnerability.

Like tweeting on social media, it's a story you don't need to tell anyone, but you want someone to hear.

Minimal synths, emotional vocals, clean-toned guitar, alternative ambient pop—this is the new album from singer-songwriter Le Makeup, who builds her own unique world.

Featuring appearances by Telematic Visions, Satoko Shibata, and Dove.

''Hajimari,'' a minimal ambient pop track, was released as the first single from the album. ''each dreams riddim'' directly samples Telematic Visions' song ''each dreams.'' ''Hold on,'' the lead track from this album ''The Crying Xpress,'' expresses the loneliness that lies alongside intimacy. ''Block Party'' has an impressive chorus that's perfect for singing along to. ''Kizu,'' which explores the process of trauma and reality, and what to accept and reject in order to become oneself, features Satoko Shibata and even quotes melodies from Shibata's songs. The dreamy ''c 4eva'' is about the fact that everyone is naturally alone, but still longs for connection. ''Venus'' is a break-like track on the album that evokes the image of night gradually deepening. ''Ivory Recording,'' featuring Dove, is a grand-sounding song with an impressive synth phrase and Dove's vocals. ''Until This Night Ends'' is a cool, breezy song that evokes the feeling of a night when you face alone a night you can't face alone, with electric guitar arpeggios and vocals/synthesizer in sync. ''Voice'' has a positive feel, like a sudden gust of wind that can occur amidst the mundane routines of daily life. ''Breath'' expresses the deep night and the light ahead. ''glo'' is inspired by a novel and explores the lonely aspects of social life and how to live with others in human society. ''crying ex'' is a love letter to music that transcends hesitation to put things into words. A total of 13 tracks.
