This noteworthy album transforms classic city pop songs by artists like Miki Matsubara and Tomoko Aran into dance-floor-ready Latin grooves through exquisite salsa arrangements. The mastermind behind it all is Willy Calderon, a talented American percussionist, composer, and producer. A key figure in the contemporary Latin scene, he has worked with Latin heavyweights such as Carlos Vives, Fruko y Sus Tesos, and Tony Succar, as well as global artists like Bruno Mars and Drake.
