Taiwanese band Wooly releases their new album, showcasing a new generation of Shibuya-kei music, on 7-inch vinyl!

Wooly is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter whose work is rooted in a deep love for Japanese culture. Since starting her solo career in 2022, her clear, ethereal voice and delicate expressiveness, capturing subtle nuances of emotion, have garnered her approximately 63,000 monthly listeners. She also performs live primarily in Tokyo, attracting attention in the Shibuya-kei/City Pop scene.

This release features a brand new song, "It's a Secret," written by Kunimondo Takiguchi (RYUSENKEI), and a cover of SATELLITE LOVERS' "Best Friend," which is gaining renewed appreciation overseas, both released on 7-inch vinyl.

The new song delicately portrays the bittersweet feelings of a young girl's heart, and her charm shines through in a sophisticated arrangement. For the cover song, yopeco of sucola produced the track, updating the original song's light groove and mellow charm with a modern sound. It's a sound that

blends nostalgia and freshness, representing the current state of the new generation of Shibuya-kei from Taiwan.
